Appearance:
Draco has a thin, wry frame. He is not broad and bulky, but every inch of him is muscles. He keeps in shape from his Quidditch practice as well as running. He is not the tallest one in his House, but by no means is he the smallest. Yet, despite his height, he has always been able to draw attention to himself and be a presence in whatever room he is in. He walks with confidence, as if he owns the world or at least whatever room her just walked into. He acts as if everyone should drop what they are doing and pay attention to him. He has the trademark Malfoy platinum blonde hair and grey/green eyes that change a bit depending on his mood. Draco is known for his Slytherin smirk, though he can wear a regular smile…he just chooses not to. Due to his pureblood upbringing he tends to have a cool mask of distain over his features.
Draco is an impeccable dresser. He has the best clothes that are perfectly tailored for his frame, made from the best materials. He tends to like darker colors, reds, blacks, blues, and greens. Never is a there a loose thread or a hair out of place. Draco is completely comfortable in any clothes, whether formal dress robes or riding clothes or lounging robes. The clothes are a symbol of his status in the world.
Character
History:
Draco was born in the summer of 1980 as the only child of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. As the only son of one of the wealthiest and most influential Pureblood family, he grew up with all of the privilege that one would expect. He had every material thing his heart desired, private tutors, and was the little prince of the Malfoy kingdom. However with all this privilege came great responsibilities and expectations. A Malfoy was expected to excel in all arena. They were expected to be in control of themselves at all times, and they were expected to uphold everything it meant to be Pureblood. His father allowed for nothing less than perfection in all of those areas
Draco has always adored and worshiped his father, wanting to be just like him. He would always watch and try to mimic everything her could, spending hours in his father’s study, copying everything he could. In turn, the older Malfoy gave his son the attention he desired. The two males had a bond as the only Malfoys that even Narcissa couldn’t break, since she was not born a Malfoy. His father arranged for private tutors, but there were some branches of magic he taught his son himself. Lucius also taught Draco a forgotten art, except in Pureblood circles: dueling with a blade.
Draco was spoiled mostly by his mother. Narcissa might not have been the most loving mother, in fact she was completely self-centered, however, Draco was her most obvious symbol of affluence and status, besides her husband, so she spoiled him. If he said he wanted something, when they were in public, he would get it. It didn’t matter if it was candy or a new book or new clothes. She would take him(or drag him some days) shopping, dress him in hand-tailored clothes and made sure he was never dirty. She taught him how to be properly respectful to a pureblood lady, though Lucius taught him how to treat all women.
Since coming to Hogwarts, Draco has done fairly well for himself, not that most people are aware of it or would agree with him. His one burning shame is the fact that Hermione Granger keeps beating him on test scores, however, he still considers himself smarter and better than her. She IS a Mudblood, after all. He had messed up on a relationship with Harry Potter from the beginning and has never recovered. Draco is considered the 'Slytherin Prince' and just about everyone in his house looks to him for leadership, which is exactly the way he plotted it. Draco created the Dark Vipers during his 5th Year, a group of students, mostly Slytherins who are loyal to him, and through him the Dark Lord. He has marked his own Vipers with a silver pendent. He was marked as a Death Eater in the summer before his 6th year, though no one has seen his mark. He was given orders to kill Dumbledore or he would never see his father alive again. Technically his mother was included in that threat, but Draco’s main concern was Lucius, who had been sentenced to Azkaban for the battle at the Department of Mysteries. If Draco followed orders, the Dark Lord promised to free his father.
Personality:
Draco Malfoy is not the kind of person who can be described in five words and that’s the end of it. He is much more complicated than that, and the only person who can truly hope to understand him is his father, the only other Malfoy by blood alive. Draco is first and foremost a pureblood wizard. He holds to the rules and traditions of pureblood superiority. He is a gentleman for those in his social class. He is proper and always in control of himself. He is arrogant, believing his blood is above the rest. He is a Malfoy, which means he is a leader of the purebloods. They look to him for guidance as well as the standard by which they should live. In public, Draco is perfect. He doesn’t make mistakes, is always perfect in appearance and actions.
Control is a keyword in the Malfoy household. Draco is expected to be in full control over every aspect of himself at all times. So far he has only had minor slips in his control since coming to school, but that is becoming harder to continue. He lives under so much pressure, pressure that many others would not have been able to stand up under. Its getting worse, after his summer of torture at the hands of the Dark Lord, especially without the strength he gets from his father. Had Lucius been there when Draco was supposed to kill Dumbledore, he might have been able to follow through. What will happen if and when Draco looses control over himself scares even him. He has enough magical strength and Dark skill to be able to do a lot of damage to himself and others. He needs an outlet, but where that will come from, he has no idea.
However there is another side to Draco, one that is not seen outside of Malfoy Manor, though sometimes his closest friends see pieces of this side of him. Draco is much more relaxed at home. He is the Prince of his Castle, having to only defer to his Father. He laughs, has fun, enjoys riding his horses, playing Quidditch with his father, and tormenting the House Elves. Draco does not trust easily, so few see anything but the public face he wears. Only those who have proven themselves loyal might catch glimpses of the true Draco.
Women are an interesting concept for the young Malfoy heir. He knows the proper way a Lady is treated in society, but he also knows how his father taught him to think of women, as toys to play with since none of them are his equal. They are amusing to keep entertained with. It’s the great Game. It’s a dance of wits and words. It never means anything. His partners are all Slytherins and they understand this game as well as he does, or so he thinks. He never cares about them so assumes they don’t care about him. Sex is a tool, just like magic and politics and anything else. Draco wouldn’t know what to do with a woman who was his equal or worse his better. He’s never honest in his relations with women in the game, never bothers to let them get to know him. He doesn’t trust them. If he actually fell in love, he would be at a loss of what to do or how to act. Draco is capable of loving someone and of being extremely loyal to her if he admitted he was in love.
Character Flaws:
Weakness': Like his Father, Draco has a weakness for women. He has a large ego and masculine pride, which can get him in trouble, especially with his mother. He thinks of his own survival first in any situation, which, if left on its own, can make those he has sworn loyalty suspicious. Luckily for him, the current political structure gives him the security to not need to worry about this too much. Draco tends to think very highly of his own abilities and won’t believe anyone could possibly be better than he at something, if he just put his mind to it. He relies on himself and doesn’t trust anyone easily. He believes he has a right to lead the pureblood world, just as his father does.

Role Play Sample:
It was a calm day at Hogwarts. Classes were not in session, since it was Saturday, the sun was out and the breeze was blowing ever so lightly, which meant only one thing could possibly be happening....Draco Malfoy was utterly bored. He hated to be bored, even more than he hated Harry Potter, though he really didn't hate Potter. That was really too strong a word for too insignificant a person. Potter was an annoyance, a prick, and a glory hog, but beyond that, in the grand scheme of Draco's world, Potter really didn't play that much of a role.
So now Draco was in Common Room, bored, which he hated. Vince and Greg, or Crabbe and Goyle as everyone else called them had disappeared to go play dodge ball with some first year Gryffindors, though the Gryffies didn't realize they were both the balls and the targets. Blaise Zabini, Draco's best friend, was tanning out by the lake, not that the bronze boy really needed it, and Pansy was far, far away, thank Salazar for small favors. Had she been here, Draco would have been bored and had a massive headache. There were times that he wondered why he had ever bothered to cultivate her loyalty.
He had no homework to do, no self-given projects to complete, and no one in Common Room to even think of talking to. Draco was sprawled out on the couch, his robes pooling around his thin frame. What to do? What to do? If this kept up, he might end up going to find his Boys and join in the dodge ball game. He shuddered at that thought. Not that he wouldn't mind tormenting Gryffies, but he preferred a more subtle approach to his torture. Wait! Mother had sent him a new book yesterday. It had been a favorite of his father's....ouch, now that hurt. He didn't like the fact that his mother acted as if Lucius was dead, not just in Azkaban.
Draco missed his father terribly and hoped his efforts on behalf of the Dark Lord would serve to release his father from that hellhole. He sat up and ran a hand though his blonde hair, his grey eyes troubled. There had to be something else he could do to help. Nothing was right in the world until his father was freed. Draco followed the Dark Lord only because his Father did. If Lucius ever asked his son to follow something else, Draco would do so without question. His father was a great man that no one appreciated. He hoped Lucius would come home soon.
