Frequently Asked Questions
Who are the staff members?
The Faction's current staff consists of
Andy - Albus Dumbledore
Manda - Theo Nott
Liz - Draco Malfoy
Can my character be Pureblooded?
Yes. For now we are accepting pureblood applications.
Can my character have an unusual power?
Aside from Canon Characters, generally special powers are not permitted. However, if you think that there is a reason your character should have one, I ask that you send me a Private Message so we can discuss it before you post your application.
Does my character have to be human? (Regarding: Sirens and Werewolves)
Of course there are going to be one or two of these around. Numbers will be monitored, however, I don't think that any student will be allowed to have been bitten by a werewolf without due reason.
Are there limits on Houses, Years and the Sex of Characters?
Currently: no. But in the future there may well be.
Why does it take so long to get approved?
There are usually a number of applications that the approval staff have to look through and besides that, they have lives outside our little world. Usually your application will get seen within two days and if not, you are advised to contact one of the staff.

Application Advice
1. Don’t PM the Admin about your application unless it has been 2 days since your application was looked at.
2. Be patient. They say it’s a virtue.
3. Don’t argue with the staff. They don’t like it.
4. Be courteous. They like that.
5. Spellcheck your work.
6. Double check your grammar
7. Explain things as best as you can.
8. If the RP Sample asks for 300 words make sure you have written 300 words.
9. If you have any questions, don’t bombard the admin. Moderators are useful as well.
(Note: you’re advised NOT to PM members with application questions)
10. Stick to the rules and if you can’t PM the admin and discuss it with them first!
